Today's theme was kites. The art project was the best part. The children were really creative in decorating their kites. L smashed two of his kites together then decorated the top with even more iccing.

I think today went really well. The kids loved tasting the art project!!!! The teachers did a great job!!!

Today went really well! I thought the kids really enjoyed their kite craft! I felt bad today i think Sarah and Loius got their kites mixed up and they both seemed positive that the same kite was theirs.
Today was a blast!! For circle discussion, Kara talked about the different colors that kites could be. Courtney made a book, which was very colorful. The art project was EVERYONES favorite. Even the teachers had fun eating the frosting. I think that today went very well, even though we didn't have enough time to play the game. While the children were making their kites, it seemed like they managed to get more on themselves or all over the tables than they actually got on their gram crackers. But the children loved it and so did everyone else.

The art project looked delicious today! The kids looked like they had fun making the edible kites. Caylee made sure she had streamers taped on before she left. She also had fun playing with the toy airplane before the lesson began.
i thought todays lesson plan went very well! all the kids really seemed to enjoy the fact that they could eat their art project after they made it!!!

This one was alot of work and the kids spent more time eating and working on their art project than we were planning but I think they had alot of fun and this is a lesson they will remember. I was really impresses that Beau knew that kite's were in the shape of a diamond, he said it as soon as I asked the question.

Today was a really fun day! I was kind of worried about the art project, but I got to see a lot of the kids personalities and creativity come out. I didn't even care that we didn't get to play the game because the art was so fun!

I think the kids had alot of fun today! (I know the teachers did!) Courtney and I had a lot of fun setting up for the art project and knowing how much fun the kids would have! Teddy was very talkative today when I brought him and was playing with him! I think today's lesson went very well and was a lot of fun!

I thought today was so much fun. I loved the edible kites and I could tell the children loved them as well. Even thought they weren't able to play a game I still think they had a great time today! Great job girls!
